Medical Center

The NGO Medisina was founded in November 2012.
After renovation work, the centre was able to open its doors in April 2013, after a festive opening, at which the minister of health, Laurette Onkelinx, was present.

• With, in the beginning, 2 general practitioners, a psychologist and a secretary, the team succeeded in growing step by step and in better meeting the needs of patients. The number of patients is growing rapidly, from 1 person on the first day, to around 3000 today.

  The medical center Medisina brings together a full team of young and dynamic professionals, all committed to one common goal: providing first-line health care that is accessible to all, health promotion in different sectors, and a better guidance for each patient, both in terms of prevention and care. All this thanks to a close collaboration between the various members of the Medisina team. In addition, the health services are also implemented through campaigns in schools or with other non-profit organizations (seminars on diabetes, first aid, etc.). Also, a movement coach comes along every week to help patients who want to integrate more sport and exercise into their daily lives.

  In addition to traditional consultations, the medical center also organizes various activities such as information sessions on health issues in daily life, healthy breakfast and healthy walks.

  To actively contribute to the training of the future generation of care providers, the doctors and nurse regularly receive students!

  Every year the members of the team organize a humanitarian mission.
